Salsa Chili Salsa Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Hamburger
  • 1 medium Onion-diced
  • 1 tsp. Salt and Pepper
  • 2 (14-1/2) cans S & W Mexican tomatoes
  • 1 (1lb1oz) can S & W Kidney Beans (don't drain)
  • 1 (4oz) can Ortega diced Green Chilies (don't drain)
  • 1 (15oz) can Bush's Best Black Beans (don't drain)
  • 1 (15oz) can Garbanzo Beans (drain)
  • 1/2 cup Ortega medium Home Style Recipe Salsa
  • 1/2 cup Paula's Pepper Jelly (you decide the heat)
  • 2 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 cup Sour Cream (for garnish)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese (for garnish)

Preparation

Brown hamburger, onions, salt and pepper in a large skillet.

Add all other ingredients except shredded cheese and sour cream. Simmer approx. 3 hours or in a crock pot for 5-6 hours.

Put chili in bowls and garnish with cheese and sour cream.

My family enjoys this chili with home baked Corn bread. Enjoy!
