| Is our 'Paula's Red Raspberry Pepper Jelly- 8oz missing into your sideboard? | | Put |
Put a layer of pie crust on the bottom of a pie plate.
Layer apple slices very close together in a fanned style. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples and a sprinkle a little sugar.
Add a 2nd layer of apples and sprinkle more cinnamon and sugar.
Warm raspberry pepper jelly in a microwave for approx.1 minute or until it becomes liquid.
Pour evenly over apples and dot with butter. Add the top layer of pie crust to the apples.
Pierce the top of the pie with a fork. (I like to make snowflakes).
Bake Pie covered with foil for 35 minutes at 375 degrees, then take off foil and bake for another 20 minutes at 350 degrees until crust is a golden brown.
Hint I like to fold the ends of the pie crust upwards not under it helps keep the juices in the pie instead of pouring out and making a mess.
